As we know, Covid-19 has been devastating for the Performing Arts and WOCo was not spared. Until the end of May 2020 we hoped against hope that we would be able to perform Hansel & Gretel in August as planned, but it was not to be.
The short film (below) which we made and which was shown at the Chateau de Panloy on the 15 August, has helped us all to reflect on the last 11 years of our existence and to cherish all the more what we have achieved collectively as a company of emerging artists. Looking ahead, the importance and value of Music, Theatre and live performance in our lives is clearer than ever and here at WOCo we passionately renew our commitment to our mission of providing training and performance opportunities of the highest standard to the emerging artists on our programme. We will return to Panloy with Engelbert Humperdink's ...
We feel confident that there will be a special joy to the rehearsals and performances. We hope to see you there.
Nurturing the operatic talent of tomorrow
The short film below celebrates 11 seasons of WOCo. at Panloy and looks forward to Summer 2021 when we will return for our 12th Season.
